Lunch With Grandpa and Kathy
This week we were fortunate to spend a little time with Grandpa and Kathy as their tour stopped here enroute to Berlin.

While it was only about 80 minutes, we had time to take a lap around the square, take some pictures, and enjoy a lunch of traditional Polish food. We were hoping to eat at one of the outdoor patios, but the unseasonably cold weather put the kibosh on that.
Unfortunately, they arrived too late to see Poznań’s #1 tourist attraction: the goats. Every day at noon, the mechanical goats come out of a door above the town hall clock and butt heads twelve times. I’m sorry to say that it’s quite anti-climactic. But there is always a crowd of people in the square, craning their heads upward and taking pictures. Here is a video shot by a person with a decent zoom on their camera.
Grandpa and Kathy, it was great to see you and we hope the rest of your tour was just as pleasant as the beginning!
