Parthemores in Poland

The other big news for this month was that I finally got my karta pobytu!  No deportation for me!!!

What appeared to be a basic bureaucratic process turned into a six month odyssey involving complex tasks, like finding gainful employment and registering with the Polish Social Security. 

I’m hoping that this whole process will be easier the second time around.  Too bad that’s only six months from now…
