Lost in Translation, part 2
In December of last year, we compiled a collection of some of the funny and unusual sights around town. Since “Poland funny photos” is the second most popular search on this site, we’re happy to bring you our latest take on the unique, random, curious, and humorous aspect of living in a foreign country. As before, some pictures require a junior-high sense of humor.
Living in a foreign country and not understanding everything means you sometimes have to use your instincts. For some reason you can’t explain, you just know that you don’t want to eat here:

Or here:

Or hire these guys for private security:

Guess who Bistro Fux hires for security…? Seriously, go back and check the picture.
Sometimes, when you do understand, you wish you didn’t:

The left side says “good food here,” while the right side says “and hard evidence here.” Yuck.

Well, that’s pretty straightforward.
Poles are not shy about publicly venting their frustrations:

“I park like a moron.” Nice, short and to the point. This car was blocking the entrance to the parking garage. I’m sure everybody got a good laugh while trying to squeeze their way out.

Our friends found this written on the sidewalk below their balcony one morning. This basically means “don’t throw up on your neighbors from your balcony.” Our friends claim they weren’t the offenders.
We’re not going to translate this next one, because of the family nature of this blog. Suffice to say, not a good idea to post a lingerie ad within easy reach of street hooligans.

What’s the best way to decorate a random hole in the wall? Yeah, that’s it!

At least this one’s in English:

We walked by this building every day on our way to class. We didn’t notice any aggressive tendencies or anti-social behavior.
To close, a fine example of the unintentionally hilarious license plate. In case you’re wondering, the driver was a distinguished-looking German fellow.

Stay tuned for the next episode!
